Worship Hours:

8:00 and 9:15 a.m. Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary
- 10:30 a.m. Fresh Bread Contemporary Worship at the air-conditioned YWCA
In the sanctuary service this Sunday, Rev. Paul Johnsen will be preaching. His sermon, "A Labor of Love," will be based on Jeremiah 18: 1-11.
At the Fresh Bread contemporary service Deacon Dave Wilkinson will share his message "Your Work Matters to God", based excerpts from Colossians 3. The JAM Band will provide the music.

UMW Treasured Member Event on Tuesday
Treasured members Betsy Hendrickson and Patricia Baer will be honored on Tuesday, September 7 at Heritage Hill. This will be a combined UMW luncheon event beginning at 11:15. Sign up in Room 106 and indicate whether you want to carpool from church at 10:45 a.m.
Wear your nametag on Sunday and for all meetings and classes so we can help the new staff members put names with faces.

Lina Green has accepted the roles of Director of Education and Adult Education Coordinator. Lina is a life-long United Methodist. For the past twenty years she has been on staff at one of our United Methodist Colleges, Virginia Wesleyan College. Most recently, Lina has served as the midwest student recruiter for that institution. |

Joy Rockstroh has been hired as our Children's Ministries Coordinator. Leading children to Christ and mentoring them through their spiritual journey is very import to her. In 2009, Joy graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Joy has a variety of experiences working with children. Mort recently, she served as the Children's Ministry Director at Christ Church, ELCA in Mequon, Wisconsin. |

The Pantry has a request
During the month of September, the Good Will Place Pantry is asking for donations of apples and canned fruit. You may place your donations in the bin at the north entrance to the church.
School Supplies for Sunday School
There is a colorful crate in the Gathering Area for you to place your donations of school supplies for Sunday School. Thank you!

We've sponsored 20 Flood Buckets!
Please return any outstanding filled buckets by Sunday, September 12 so we can send them on their way.
Sign up now for GETS Ride
Our motorcycle and bicycle ride to raise money for Garrett Scholarships will take place on Saturday, September 18. Please refer to the bulletin board in the narthex for more information. Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. The first 50 riders to sign up and pledge will receive a ride t-shirt!
Bible Study opportunities abound within Green Bay Circuit
This fall our Green Bay area United Methodist Churches have made an effort to coordinate and promote small group studies available within our Circuit. DISCIPLE Bible Study, Companions in Christ, women's and men's groups, prayer and book discussion groups, Bible studies, etc. are all being offered throughout the circuit.
