Lisa Malmberg was recently hired as our Youth Ministries Coordinator. She is responsible for coordinating the 6 – 12 grade Sunday school program, recruiting teachers and parent helpers, handling PR and logistics for youth events, and is working closely with the Youth Leadership Team, the Youth Advisory Committee, and the newly formed Youth Council to develop an ongoing program for our youth.

Lisa is married to husband Dave and has two daughters, Kasey (20) and Hannah (12). She was born and raised in Green Bay and is a life-long member of First Church. Growing up, her parents (Edward & Martha Whitlock) instilled the importance of participation in Sunday School along with Confirmation. As an adult Lisa searched for a stronger connection to the church and wanted to give back while also instilling those same values in her own children. It wasn't until she was approached about teaching Sunday School that she started to feel truly connected and knew that was where God intended her to be.

Alison Kottke, Youth  Intern Leader

Alison is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. She is from Fond du Lac, WI where she was an active member at Salem United Methodist Church and very involved with youth group. Alison loves singing and reading and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Alison really enjoyed her first year working with First UMC youth and looks forward to another year of fun and faith building!

Wesley Kottke, Youth Group Intern

Wesley is Alison's cousin. He grew up on the family dairy farm and graduated from Oakfield HS in Fond du Lac last June. He was an active member at Salem United Methodist Church and very involved with youth group, doing many volunteer projects and fun youth activities. He even attend youth convo. Wesley is very excited to meet all the youth at FUMC and to share fun and faith with them. If you see Wesley, please welcome him!
